Film dari The End Will Be Spectacular (2019) bersinopsis Zilan, seorang wanita muda, kembali ke kampung halamannya untuk mencari jejak saudara laki-lakinya yang telah meninggal, dibunuh oleh ISIS. Tapi kotanya tidak seperti dulu: ketegangan sosial dan politik telah meningkat menjadi keadaan perang. Rakyat telah bangkit untuk menuntut otonomi politik mereka dan polisi serta tentara menindas mereka dengan kekuatan brutal.
