Film dari Warriors of the Rainbow: Seediq Bale I (2011) bersinopsis Mouna Rudo lahir dan besar di antara masyarakat Seediq, sebuah suku asli di Taiwan, dan ketika ia tumbuh dewasa, ia menjadi anggota Seediq Bale, sekelompok pejuang pribumi yang pemberani. Namun, cara hidup Rudo terancam di bawah kekuasaan pasukan pendudukan Jepang, yang mengambil alih negara pada tahun 1895. Saat Rudo melihat tradisi dan kehormatan rakyatnya dilucuti, dia menyadari waktunya telah tiba untuk melawan, dan di Pada tahun 1930 ia mengumpulkan sekelompok mantan tentara Seediq Bale, yang banyak di antaranya terlibat dalam pertikaian, dan membentuk mereka menjadi tentara revolusioner.
